HEALTH HAZARD DATA (ACUTE AND CHRONIC)
No injury from silica dust should occur during reasonable use. If use creates respirable particles, some respiratory systems injury may occur. This product, as with any chemical, may enhance allergic conditionsin certain people. No known chronic health effects, but unnecessary exposure to any chemical should be avoided. Cured sealant is nonhazardous.
OTHER:
Crystalline Silica as respirble dust is listed as a potential carcinogen by IARC and NTP. In the case of this product, it has been incorporated into the sealant and wetted by the binder resin, no longer presenting a dust hazard. therefore, the supplier of the RTV material is not indicating crystalline silica as a carcinogen or hazardous ingredient.
