Cutting
Cutting is usually the first step towards achieving a high-gloss finish. When polishing, always work from coarse to fine: start the process with relatively hard polishing tools, then use softer polishing tools.
During this step, defects and deep scratches on the surface of the workpiece are removed using sisal or sisal/cotton blend polishing discs.
Important: Polishing is always carried out with polishing compound. Pre-polishing therefore requires a polishing compound that is suitable for this stage of the process and for the material of the workpiece.
