USCFVG003 HPVE V-Grooved - Eccentric Stud Style - Metric Sizes

A V-Grooved Eccentric Stud Style Cam Follower is a type of roller bearing that has a cylindrical stud as the inner raceway, with the outer raceway being a cylinder that is offset (eccentric) with the stud and has a V-groove cut into its surface. This design is commonly used in cam and track following applications where the ability to compensate for misalignment or shaft deflection is required and a specific and consistent orientation of the bearing relative to the cam or track is needed. The V-groove allows for positive guidance and helps to maintain the proper orientation of the bearing, while the eccentric stud provides the ability to adjust for misalignment, making it suitable for use in applications with shaft deflection or other sources of misalignment. The stud allows for easy installation, and the plain (non-flanged) outer surface provides minimal axial height, making it suitable for applications with tight installation constraints.
